Exposure Compound Annotation |
|
Annotates LC-MS features with compounds of diet and chemical exposure, from an MS1 feature table (suspect screening), MS/MS spectra or SIRIUS results. A match is a structural hypothesis, not evidence of exposure. MS1 features are screened against exposure suspect lists
(PubChemLite for Exposomics, NORMAN SusDat, Blood Exposome Database), ranked by mass error, isotope ratios, a second
adduct, list membership and literature, with a confidence level per feature. Every MS/MS library candidate is matched by
InChIKey, or by name where no InChIKey is available, to the exposure compound database (food intake biomarkers from
FOBI, Exposome-Explorer and Phenol-Explorer; dietary-pattern signatures of published cohorts and trials; exposure
biomarkers from MarkerDB and published studies; food constituents from FooDB and Phenol-Explorer; SMPDB drug
pathways) and shown with the reason it is listed and whether it also occurs in human metabolic pathways. The top
structures of imported SIRIUS results are matched in the same way and also to the suspect lists. |
