Lipid Annotation [MS2] |
|
Assigns lipid classes and species (e.g. PC 34:1) to MS/MS spectra by matching them to LipidBlast in silico spectra; SIRIUS results can be imported instead. Assigns lipid classes and species to MS/MS spectra. The spectra are compared with LipidBlast,
a library of in silico lipid spectra; every hit is given a lipid class and a sum-composition species (for example
PC 34:1), and a molecular species (PC 16:0_18:1) only when the spectrum separates it from its isomers by at least
5 points of matching score. Class and species are read from the library name (Goslin grammars) or, for records
without a lipid shorthand name, taken from the lipid compound database by InChIKey. Experimental libraries can be
added; MS-DIAL contains its own copy of LipidBlast. Results of SIRIUS (formula, CSI:FingerID structure and CANOPUS
class per feature) can be imported instead of spectra. |
